What is this site?
That is a better question. This site was designed with education as it's prime objective. The intention here is to create an Identity. Most of the internet thrives on anonymity. In order to get into this system, A person must be invited. Therefore, everyone here is a friend of a friend.
The system also allows a person to create communities. Communities allow group collaboration. A person can establish security within the communities as well. This provides a safe place for a group to discuss private group functions.
Safety is important for collaboration.
A person cannot feel creative enough to make mistakes unless the group process is secure.
The system is completely customizable. A person can upload images and audio files. Every public object in this system is connected to tags and rss feeds, so this is a perfect podcsting platform.
Full html support is available in every post, so people are able to embed videos and content served on other services.
This system also connects to a project called Moodle. Our next objective is to incorporate online classrooms to this system so that we can offer services that enhance collaboration for all people.
